I’ll be at the New England Fan Experience, or NEFE, this weekend, in Cambridge, MA. Our part of the Fan Experience is called Anime Kaiju, and it focuses on two things, anime and giant monsters, or kaiju. Myself and Sam Romero, artist on Gambling Souls, will be sharing a table, and selling our book, Webcomics 2.0. See you there, and as always, if you mention this website, we’ll give you a discount!

Gambling Souls is a satire of poker and poker players, starring four ex-cons in the seedy world of underground poker. It’s an ongoing serial for ClickWheel, designed to be read on an iPhone or iPod Touch. Part 2 of the story, Nine Handed, just got posted, and we sent out a press release this morning timed to the final table of the actual World Series of Poker, which this story satirizes.

Smashout Comics will have a table in the Creator’s Common at Mid-Ohio-Con this weekend, Oct. 4-5. We’ll have all five issues of Strongarm for sale (which just kicked off serialization here!)
